About the Office
The UGA Equal Opportunity Office (EOO) is responsible for ensuring that UGA complies with all applicable laws and policies regarding discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, sex (including sexual harassment and pregnancy), gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity or national origin, religion, age, genetic information, disability or veteran status.
The office administers the Non-Discrimination Anti-Harassment Policy and the Sexual Misconduct Policy, and houses the UGA Title IX Coordinator and the ADA/Section 504 Coordinator. EOO also administer the University's Affirmative Action Plan for University employees and coordinates the Ombudsperson Program.
The UGA EOO Director serves as the Title IX Coordinator, ADA/Section 504 Coordinator, NDAH Officer and Affirmative Action Officer.
