The VA Regional Office and Medical Center in Atlanta, GA is responsible for delivering services offered by the VA to veterans and dependent family members in Georgia.

The VA Center Call Service (1-877-WAR-VETS) is an around the clock confidential call center where combat Veterans and their families can call to talk about their military experience or any other issue they are facing in their readjustment to civilian life. The staff is comprised of combat Veterans from several eras as well as families members of combat Veterans. This benefit is prepaid through the Veteran’s military service.

The VA Outpatient Clinic provides mental health outpatient care, preventive health and education programs, and primary care to veterans.

 

Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center – Augusta:  http://www.augusta.va.gov/

The VA Regional Medical Center in Augusta, GA delivers healthcare services offered by the VA to veterans in Georgia.

 

Georgia Department of Veterans Service:  http://veterans.georgia.gov/

The Georgia Department of Veterans Service serves veterans residing in Georgia, their dependents and their survivors in matters relating to veterans benefits.

 

Georgia Department of Veterans Service – Athens Field Office:  9249 U.S. Highway 29 South, Suite D, Athens, GA 30601, (706) 369-5630 or (706) 369-5631.

The GDVS Athens Field Office provides GDVS services to veterans, dependents, and survivors in Barrow, Clarke, Jackson, Madison, Oconee, and Oglethorpe counties.
