"With Justice for All" - April 3, 2014

On April 3, 2014, UGA's School of Social Work will present the 3rd Annual Donald L. Hollowell Lecture.  Titled "Justice for All," the lecture will be delivered by Morris Dees, founder and chief trial attorney of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).  

Started in 1971, SPLC is dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of society, using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy. SPLC is internationally known for tracking and exposing the activities of hate groups. Its "Teaching Tolerance" program produces and distributes documentary films, books, lesson plans and other materials that promote tolerance and respect in our nation's schools. 

Based in Montgomery, Alabama, SPLC has offices in Atlanta, New Orleans, Miami, FL, and Jackson, MS.
