The University of Georgia will celebrate Black History Month 2015, "A Century of Black Life, History and Culture," this February with a variety of programs and activities across campus, including a panel discussion hosted by journalist Soledad O'Brien as part of her "Black in America Tour." The month-long series of lectures, performances, movies and discussions will celebrate diversity and inclusion on campus, with particular focus given to milestones in African-American culture during the 20th century. On Monday, March 2, at 6:30 PM in room 102 of the Miller Learning Center, the Equal Opportunity Office (EOO) is hosting an Open Dialogue on Sexual Consent. EOO invites the entire University Community – students, faculty and staff - to take this opportunity to ask questions, share information, and engage in dialogue about sexual consent.
